Amirah Tapp is a sophomore at Delaware State University. Amirah concentration is in TV/Radio/Film. She has a passion for influence and enjoys making a difference in the lives of others. Prior to making the decision to attend Delaware State University. She was a student for 3 years at Dundalk High School located in Baltimore, Maryland. It was at Dundalk High School that Amirah made the decision to direct her full attention to the field of Communications. Amirah is the Community Relations Director of WDSU the Hive at Delaware State University.
Amirah assists with several community service projects such as: League of Women Voters of Delaware (Homelessness and Voter Registration) and Central Delaware NAACP (Communications and Education divisions).
In Amirah’s spare time she believes it is import to live life to the fullest and remember that tomorrow is not promises. It is important to laugh, love and live. Amirah lives by a rule of enjoying life and does not try to avoid mistakes because mistakes are what make us who we are. Amirah plans to use her voice, knowledge, skills, abilities and education to empower, impact and inspire others.
