Delaware State University men’s basketball team had their first win against The College of St. Elizabeth with a score of 80-47. This was the teams first win under new head coach Erick Skeeters. Veteran to the team Pinky Wiley had an outstanding game high of 5 assists and 4 steals. The Hornets also had a huge lead with rebounds grabbing 50 boards.
The team has also gained a huge win against Cairn(102-66) making this their 2nd win of the season improving their record to 2-7. Hornets Guard Kevin Larkin had an standout game with 40pts,11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals. This was a very big win for the Hornets after suffering from a 3 game losing streak. The Hornets are getting for their next game against Jacksonville State here in Memorial Hall Saturday December 8th, Go Hornets!!
